I updated the OS on my iPhone 4s and noticed some issues with the bluetooth on sync. Has anyone else updated and noticed issues?

Mine worked fine. No issues with BT at all.

I just posted a similar thread. Everything works as before except for texting---which should now work as iOS6 supports Bluetooth MAP.

What specific issues are you seeing?

I just tried it. Deleted and re learned phone. Does not work. I guess Apple and Microsoft will never work together.

Not true...people on the Mustang, Ranger---wtf?, Explorer, and Focus forums are reporting that it works fine for them. I have yet to find a case where it works on the F150.

Why must you delete and re lean phone. Now I'm off to try my iPhone and truck together. Dang this forum eats up my time and money! In a good way of course

I wonder if it has anything to do with earlier vs. later versions of SYNC? I remember reading that texting in SYNC was coming, but I don't recall where. Have you updated to the latest version?

I actually just got done talking to Sync support who confirmed I was on the latest version. He said it was more of a problem with the phone than the vehicle---whatever. If it's working in a Ford Focus it's not the phone!

He said Apple and Ford are working on the issue. We'll see if anything comes out of that.
