I wired some LED lights to the bed of the truck that turn on with the interior lights. I spliced into the passanger side fuse pannel by your feet. the wire that is linked to your interior lights is the all grey with a purple stripe. Its the top right wire of the gray connection. My app doesnt allow me to post pictures anymore or i would show you.

After 15 years of marriage the mood light is the tv. I wait for her to fall asleep watching then I get her when she's not looking
Easier than ether and cheaper than rohypnol.

I have a 2wd,

I removed the "connector" behind the coin holder, one of the wires, (pin 8 if I remember correctly) is +12v when the key is on. I used this for the blue LEDs I mounted below the dash out of view.

there are other wires, but this was really easy.

I put a vacuum gauge in the coin holder spot, I connected to a wire on the light switch to get the dimming function to match the other dash lights, I don't remember which wire, but I found it with my DVOM (multimeter)
