Default Instrument cluster swap on 2013 STX 4x4

I found a 2013 cluster with the lcd srceen on Ebay for 80 bucks from a 2013 King Ranch and decided to try a swap. Could not have been any easier or happier with the swap. 6 screws, a piece of trim and 1 plug was the physical change. I then used Forscan to disable the trailer brake control module as I do not have that. I also enabled the compass with Forscan and cleared all the dtc codes. Everything works perfect. Truck app to show front and side yaw, 4x4, compass and everything else. Once I was happy with it and felt sure it was working correctly I sent it off to odo-pro.com to have the mileage matched. This cost 89 bucks and came back within 100 miles of the original cluster. Huge different from the 2 line dot matrix display I originally had. I highly recommend this upgrade. I did have to add the new steering wheel left side button module as well. 34 bucks off EBay.

I dont recall needing to make a change in forscan to get the compass working on the display after the upgrade. My cluster was from a king ranch and it was just there. I had already added the compass module and had it in the center display. Not sure if that mattered but I have the compass on both displays.

Check the FORScan sticky at the top. I just posted the link to my spreadsheet with all of the latest codes. To get the compass to work with MFT, takes two changes. Without MFT, just one. It is in the IPC. I’m on mobile right now or else I’d just paste the codes in.

Hands down the best upgrade I made. I lucked out finding a cluster that was slightly past my mileage at the time so I didn't have to send it off, but I did have to change the 4x4, back up sensors and camera in FORscan.
