OK, so for testing, if I can manage to get the harness attached to the battery and headlight as well as place the ground wire from the harness to the negative battery terminal, this would show if the harness is still good....effectively?...because the light should come on at this point...right? lol so noob....sorry people.

Yes, if you can attach the harness directly to the battery it should prove out the harness. If that is successful then try to ground the harness to the points behind the rad supports.

THEY LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My harness was just done. I think it was actually the connector from the harness to the original headlight outlet from the truck. I did, however ground to the spots that were suggested and feel good about that. It came alive but would cut out. I wiggled the connection around and they would come on. In any case, got a new harness...put it all back together and I'm lighting up the road. VERY impressed with the output. Money well spent and blood well spilled lol.

Thanks guys and thanks for all the suggestions. It kept me sane and kept my head in trying to figure it out and not giving up.

@missionman I got them from a board member here who was very cool through the process and helped me out significantly, as well.

I look forward to driving during the night now!
