AC worked last night, doesn't work this morning
Went to bed a little late last night and AC was working as it should when I got home. Woke up a few hours later for work and it doesn't blow out any air. All the lights come on but I can't hear anything clicking, maybe cause of my exhaust.
When I took it off recirculate and while moving, cold air would gently come thru the vents so I don't think it is the condenser.
Did a quick search and the popular items for failure are the blower motor resistor and the blower motor. The resistor seems like an cheap, easy fix but I didn't see anything about replacing the blower motor itself.
Anybody have any experience with these items failing or had a similar situation? How did you fix it? I can't go more than a couple days without AC down here in South Texas. Heat index is over 100 every day so I'm looking for a quick and cheap fix (fingers crossed!)

I just replaced the blower motor resistor on mine. Mine was very random. One morning it'd work fine and the next it wouldn't. Then all of a sudden it decided not to work at all. It took about 5 min to replace and now it works great!

To add to the confusion, I just left from work and it just works again. Oh but wait, it just stopped working.
Anyone, anyone at all wanna help?
I bought a blower motor resistor and this is what I pulled out of the dash...doesn't quite match. What is it?

What you pulled out is the resistor. There are two blower motor resistors. One for single and one for dual climate control.

I got mine from oreillys. What you describe sounds like exactly what mine did.

Im assuming you have auto dual climate control. What they gave you looks like the one for non auto climate control. Go back and exchange it for the bigger one that looks like what you pulled out of your truck!

I would rather replace just one part instead of both of them. As I previously asked, is there any way to do a diagnostic on either one of these parts to determine which one is failing to try to save some coin.

I get that much. My dilemma is that the dual climate part costs almost $80 and a new blower motor is $120. Since it is sporadically working, what are the chances the blower motor is going our and not this resistor?
