Any suggestions for stubbies that still tune in well for local radio stations?
I got a 13 inch rubber antenna off Amazon. I went to take it off after a few months and metal screw had rusted into the antenna base. Dealership did me a solid and replaced it under warranty and I just stick with the OEM antenna from now on.

FM antenna needs to be 31" tall to catch the 88-108Mhz frequencies. If you shorten it, you will lose signal.

Nope. That's as large as they go. Sounds like you need a bigger monitor.

As for reception where I live even with the OEM antennae I get terrible reception so it's honestly no loss for me since I didn't have reception as it is.

Bought a 2013 F 150 scab 4X4, measured the garage before I brought it home to make sure it fit. Length and width were ok, but didn't measure up. Pulled it in the garage and notice the antenna was wacking the top of the garage when I pulled in. Bought a Craven Speed antenna on the internet, works fine for me. Haven't noticed any difference in reception.

I take all of my pics with my phone. It's always set to 1080p and I forget to change the resolution when I take pics for the forum. Sorry.

I was going to say that your stubby looks way bigger than mine. I can hardly read the writing on mine.

I get great radio reception, but I live in close proximity to most L.A. radio and TV antennas.

jsut a word of advice for anyone replacing their OEM antenna...use some Dielctric grease on it before you install it...

I installed one..and 2 years later i tried removing it..it rusted and broke the threaded screw in ...i had to replace the entire base and wire that goes through the firewall. not a hard job..but preventable...
