A couple of pictures of my install about eight months ago... Originally documented in this thread.
Very happy with the Roush Gauge and vent pod mount. Been through a very hot summer and plenty of cold winter days, and the air flow reduction through the vent is minimal and a non-issue for me. I wouldn't want to loose directional control in all my vents, but having one blowing in 'diffuse' mode works really well!
My next project is to wire in an inexpensive LED dimmer so that the gauge dims with the dash. It really isn't bad having it on all the time, it just would blend a bit better if it dimmed with the dash. I'm going to use the guts out of one of these inexpensive dimmers. $6 on Amazon. It will dim with the stock dash dimmer control. The **** on the dimmer itself will just be set once to match the gauge brightness to the rest of the dash at all brightness levels.
