Default Rancho 4" lift on a 2014?

Any updates on a Rancho 4" lift to a 2014?, why the change in lower control arms for 2014?, and is this the only change required to be able to instal this lift onto the 2014.

Rancho sells a 4" spacer for the 2014 model. You'll buy their 11-13 kit with no shocks, and install the spacer with it.

I wound up buying the rough country 4" kit for mine and am very pleased.

The rancho I kit was a bit more expensive once you buy all the extras you have to buy. Their kit requires you to buy the spacer and rear shocks, where rough country's come with all you need.

Also good luck getting someone with any intelligence when calling rancho for customer support. This was also another reason I didn't buy their kit.

Glad I wasn't the only one. I had to RMA a leaking shock from their Quicklift leveling it. Getting a hold of someone was a pain. I got transferred back and forth multiple times. Eventually they did send me a new one and refunded me the cost, but I wasn't happy about the process at all.

I too bought the RC 4 inch and plan on selling my Rancho parts.

Thanks for the input guys.
I was under the impression that the Rancho was a well respected kit, which offered better ride than most others.

The ride shouldn't be much different from one kit to the next when using spacers and the factory shocks. The tires you choose will change your ride more than anything.

My 4" RCX lift rides as good as it did stock and better than it did when I had a 2.5" level.

The well respected kits....just depends on who you ask! Every brand has their fans. Some think Rough Country is very suitable for most. Then some believe in spending more = better quality. Some think more expensive kits that design theirs with some kind special steel, welds, cross members, etc are worlds better. Some really abuse theirs offroad and some almost never go offroad.

To me, there isn't really a wrong choice. Otherwise there would be a lot of chatter about it. For the most part there are satisfied owners in with every brand.

I had sent an email to Rancho since this post, asking about fitment and part#'s needed. As stated, poor customer service, absolutely no response.
