I Love the sound. Its a little more mellow than I was expecting but not disappointed. Nice growl at initial startup but quiets down shortly after. Absolutely no drone on the highway which was my top priority but will scream when accelerating. I have some video clips I will post as soon as I set up a youtube acct. The quality of the corsa is second to none. I have owned magnaflow, flowmaster and borla on previous vehicles and I have to say this is my favorite so far.

My duramax was an 07' 6.6 turbo diesel. Had MBRP exhaust system and Edge CTS programmer on it. It had tons of power and torque. Not that the platinum doesnt but it was kinda in a different class compared to the gas engine. I can say that the throttle response and quickness is much better on the 6.2. When I got down on the diesel it seemed like i was always waiting for something to happen, which it eventually did, but just much more delayed than the gas engine. I dont tow anything larger than a bass boat so I cant really compare the towing power between the two. I do miss being able to blow black smoke though...

I just installed the same CAI and tuner from Mike. I have a question though. The clips on my factory lower air filter box do not fit very tightly against the AFE box. I tie-strapped down the right side of the box to make sure it doesn't come unseated (not that it would as the butts up against the hood), but the clips not staying bother me. Did you have this problem?

BTW, I did notice a huge improvement with the 93 performance and the CAI...exhaust is next on my list.

I checked my box after I read this and the two end clips were off! So to answer your queston, mine does not fit to tight either. Guess im gonna have to tie wrap mine to.

Similar setup on my Raptor...I love the Corsa...It's the only way to go. Now if you want a incredible sweet sound, get a DMH eletric cut out for the exhaust and install it right after the resonator. I run with mine open now almost all the time. You lose power and torque when open but the sound is un...be...lievable
