Ingot Silver Metallic Vinyl Wrap??
Has anyone ever has a body panel/part wrapped with a vinyl that matches Ingot Silver Metallic (Paint Code UX)?
My upper bumper pad started flaking shortly after I bout my truck. Ford covered it under warranty. Well it's flaking again and ALOT worse this time. I seriously doubt Ford would cover it again, going to try at least. If not then I'd like to see about wrapping it.

I have the same color/truck as you, except an FX4 — I just had the front bumper repainted, as it had a few dings/chips when I bought it... I figure it won't be long before that's the case again...
So, I also had previously looked into vinyl wraps, but for wrapping the old man's 57. Having been to enough car shows, having worked in a detail shop and doing research online, it's pretty clear that if you're going to wrap your car, you better do it with a 3M product, because they're the industry leader in this sort of thing...
3M makes all sorts of vinyl wrapping films, but there's one called their 1080 color change wrap vinyl... This is the film you're going to want... I've subsequently picked up a dozen or so samples of this, for color or whatever, and I have to say, it's a pretty impressive product...
First of all, it's repositionable; the film has a feature called ControlTac adhesive, which is PRESSURE-activated and has a screen of glass beads built into it (sounds bad but it's not). These beads allow you to position the film exactly where you need it, and then when you're ready for your heat and squeegee, you can finalize that application...
Secondly, if you decide that you don't like it, just peel it off, no big deal. It leaves no residue, no damage, no problem... I've wrapped a few things other than cars, to see how it holds up to every day use — I wrapped my macbook, ipad, kitchen appliances, all of which look awesome, and have held up to daily abuse.
I happen to have sourced mine from here, because they have an office near me: https://www.fellers.com/
I've only used the matte & metallic films, but there are others for just about any color or finish. Here's the site for examples:

no matter where you get it, It's a couple bucks for a sample, and about $20-$30 for a yard or so.
I think either the White aluminum or sterling silver might be the right color to try:
Now that I'm looking at it, I think I want to wrap some sections of my truck in this matte aluminum:
BOOM. Most. information. ever.

I have a 2010 Sterling Grey Metallic XLT Screw with the silver ingot two tone lower panels. I am slowly attempting to get rid of my chrome, the biggest of which are my front and rear bumpers. I found a very good match is the ORACAL 970RA Silver Grey Metallic Vinyl - Linky
I ordered some ORACAL 970RA samples of the matte and the high gloss and honestly cannot tell much of a difference between the two. The both match the bottom silver very well. I plan on doing the wrap sometime soon, but may look into trying to find a 3M product that matches as their description and the longevity of the product seems better, at least on paper.
I will get some pics of the ORACAL on the truck when I get home.

Pics as promised. Matte on the left and gloss on the right. Gloss is definitely my choice if I go with this product.
Side note I ordered 3M 1080 samples in:
Matte Silver
Satin White
Sterling Silver
White Aluminum
I will let you know what I find out. My buddy has a 13' FX4 in silver ingot I will lay the 3M samples on his hood and take some pics.
