Hey guys, my dad just bought his 2012 ingot silver screw xlt 4x4 and had custom leather put in, a 2" leveling kit, and 295-70-18 nitto trail grapplers, so I figured there a black truck forum so why not start an ingot silver thread, so post some pics of your rides!!!!

i never like the silver till the day i saw my truck setting on the transporter going in to the dealer and i went over and bought it!

The reason why he bought it was because he wanted low maintenance, he traded in a 2010 candy red metallic screw lariat 4x4 because it was always dirty

That is exactly why my last two trucks have been silver. My wife's truck is black and my Mustang was dark green. I love the fact that I can go months without washing the silver and it still looks good!

my 2011... i definitely like black, especially tuxedo black, but the silver is nice not having to wash ever 5 days... though i dont like going 2 weeks without washing, the paint does look good for how dirty it really is!

guess i will stick to black cars!!

I have a 2011 XLT 5.0 in ingot silver with the chrome package. I think it is a great color choice.
I train bird dogs out in a big, open field and when the sun is shining and I am way out looking back the truck just glows. My training buddies have commented on the same thing when they see it.
I also have found it does not show dirt like some other colors, especially black.
