Default Incentives/rebates were just increased

I noticed yesterday on the Ford site that the incentives were increased in my area. If you are expecting delivery or buying soon, you might want to take a look for your area.

Rebates depend on trim levels and engine....... Could vary widely.

$3,000 Customer Cash (PGM #12316) + $1,000 XLT Customer Cash (PGM #12322) + $500 5.0L Bonus Cash (PGM #12264) + $500 XLT Bonus Cash (PGM #12320) + $1,750 XLT Luxury Pkg. (PGM #97270) + $1,000 Ford Credit Bonus Cash (PGM #12318) which requires Ford Credit financing. Not all buyers will qualify for Ford Credit financing. 0% APR financing for 60 months at $16.67 per month per $1,000 financed regardless of down payment (PGM #20438). Not available on Raptor. For all offers, take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 7/8/13. See dealer for qualifications and complete details.

Yeah the XLT and 5.0 combos have some huge incentives. But even the general incentives all increased by $500 in my area a couple days ago. I've noticed GM is really piling on the rebates now after their poor truck sales last month so Ford will no doubt hold steady or increase incentives over the next month or two.

I've always wondered why they just don't price vehicles right, from the start? This would eliminate all the BS "incentives, rebates, etc." Just price the dam truck accordingly, and sell'em.

Because it makes people "feel" like they got a good deal. My truck had a $53k MSRP but I got it for $43k made it feel like I got bent over alot less.

They changed again for my area. The Retail Customer Cash lowered by $500 but they added Customer Trade Cash for $750, so an increase of $250 overall.

As we get closer to summer, we should see some sweet deals.
