I remember seeing the plasti dip thread last winter and not thinking anything of it.
Well here I am almost a year later and I'm all about it! I finally dipped wheels Friday night and was so stoked I had to snap some pics once I put them back on. I also did the mirror reflectors and the third brake light. Man am I stoked.
Next on the list is the front grill and running boards if its possible.
Anyone dip the 2011+ FX boards with success??

You are doing wayyyy too much work lol u can spray plastidip with the wheels right on the truck without masking the tire or anything.. thats how i always do them, then just peel it off the rubber. wheels look great tho.

how durable is plasti-dip? easy to scratch or peel?

Why put plastidip on 3rd brake light? I did tint spray on mine and I think the tint is a lot easier to use, and won't give it that textured look
