If you've loaded a custom tune onto your truck and your AC seems worse than prior to uploading the tune, disconnect your battery for 15 minutes. It helped mine a lot.

Sometimes when loading a tune the climate control system powers on/off, like the radio, and it can throw off the position of the blend door relative to where the computer thinks it is. Disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes lets the blend door run its full range of motion to reset itself.

Enjoy

I hope this helps. My AC sucks until you turn it all the way on.

Did this last night but it was already cool enough outside to test if it made a difference. I'll be checking it in a bit though...

This will likely only help if your AC is worse after loading a tune. It won't fix other AC issues.

It most definitely helped my AC. Prior to my tune upload the AC worked fine. After the tune upload it felt more humid and didn't get as cold. Now I'm achieving 42.5 degrees at the vent after about 10 minutes of running. That's about as good as any '11-'14 F-150 I've heard of.

Tuned. Best I got after the battery disconnect was 47° with 91° ambient and super humidity.
