this will gain you more clearance under your truck body and help go through deeper mud and snow even with stock tires but it wont look like anything special.
goin from stock 31" to 33" tires will net you another inch of underbody clearance as well as an inch more under the axles and starting to look tough.
stepping up to 35s with this lift will not only look badass but net another inch underbody and under the axles over and above the 33s.

Did you do it yourself/have a shop do it. Just looking for "I should haves" or
"wish I would have done"

Josh,

No I had a CTP a custom 4x4x shop do it.....the flares make it look out of porportioned till you get a wider tire on, but in person it isn't that bad looking.

at teh time I could only get 2.5" rear block, but I wanted 1.5" -2" and it would have been level....specialy I added the rear air bags....i can raise it any time I like....

I use Pro Comp 3" Leveling kit.....they put it in a few hrs i think the whole thing was 3.5 hrs....Kit , blocks, bags
I love the way it handles, rides like stock, I put better tires on which gave me another 2" went from 31.9" to 34.1" BFG Rugged Terrian T/A's.
so total Im getting 5" lift.

Good Luck

Grant

Just chippin in here with a couple of words & pics. I did the BDS 2.5" Front Leveling Kit and a Readylift 3" Rear Block (1.5" taller than stock). Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender flares, and 35/10.50/20 Dick Cepek Tires.

As Desert Dawg mentioned in another post, keeping the tires tucked inside the fenders helps to muffle the road drone. That hasn't been an issue for me so far.

Watch out for those grandpas...they can get a little feisty in their old age! Specially those Crazy Canucks, Aay?

Hey Grant,

Didn't want to steal the thread, just wanted to show Josh another example of 35's with the leveled look. Hoping to whet his appitite for the complete package. Speaking of which congrats on the upgrade to the BFG RugTrn's. Nice look, and glad to hear that the ride and handling are still fine.

Josh...Hey Bud, its your truck and your money. Do what you want, and then tell anyone who dosn't like it to "Take Off, Hoser". That's Canadian for "**** Off, Azzhole"! Damn, you Canucks are over the edge!
