If you have a 2013 with Nav, is it worth it?

I will say this, if you haven't tried using the voice input you should. This is by far the quickest and easiest way to enter a destination for me.
Call up navigation:
Say destination by POI
I think it then asks you if you want to search local or a different city,
Then you say the POI name and it will populate a list for you to choose from.
Easy.
This is also faster than my garmin nuvi 3790T. Also it will give you a view similar to what you will see on the road, i.e. when merging from one highway to another it showed three lanes of highway on the left, and two lanes veering off to the right, and an arrow in the lane you should be in. It even called up the exact signs that were displayed on the overpass and the minimum height of the overpass. That's something even my garmin won't display.
I am probably biased, as I love technology and find this easy to work with and completely satisfying. I love it. And I guess I go to more "new" destinations in my town than the average person, so if I don't know exactly where it is, the easiest thing for me to do is search for it using my voice while I drive.
Come on old timers I'm not that much of a whipersnapper.

If you know how to use it, it's great. Bring the manual in the crapper with you and you will know sync in no time at all.

I like to think my voice is somewhat normal, not heavily accented (Canadian) but when it comes to voice activated controls, Ford, Toyota, and Apple's Siri, the damn things get it wrong 75% of the time.

speak like you're trying to get an immigrant to understand you.

I love my MTF, just came back from a trip across Smokeys to Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Knoxville To see George Strait. The Nav was great and worked perfect, especially since part of 441 was closed due to landslide.

Keep in mind that you still get turn by turn directions, you just don't get the maps. IMHO it's not worth the $800 price to have maps, especially when I use my google maps on my phone for navigation...way easier to locate and directions than the Ford navigation system, which I think is clunky. I never used it in my 2010, and opted out of Nav in my 2013...

I'm still using my Garmin even though the truck has Nav. I don't like that it turns off the screen interface when you are moving and I don't find the voice controls very intuitive.
It's slow, cumbersome and often just doesn't work. The searching is terrible. You have to know the city before you put in the street number otherwise it stubbornly refuses to find the address.
I love the truck but the Nav is pretty crappy.

I love mine and would pay twice what it costs to have it now that I have gotten used to it. I have two Garmins and a TOM TOM... they do not even compare to the My Touch NAVI once you get used to it.
But I travel a lot to places I have never been... Both my daughters play on sports teams that travel a lot to parks in cities I would otherwise never visit. This thing has been priceless for find resturants, gas stations and everything else.
It has never asked me for a zip code though.... I can understand the need to know the city before the address because it is trying to think ahead as you type letters. Knowing the city helps it narrow down the search. It is backwards from the Garmin and threw me off at first. Now the Garmin seems backwards.
One cool feature is that you can you mapquest to find your destination and then "send" it to your trucks. Used to be able to use Google maps but it stopped working due to some legal thing with google.
I still use my Garmin in my old Bronco and it is like watching and old 50 western compared to the My Sync NAVI.
