If you did it all over again?...

Glock fan...
When I went to the dealer, I had my heart set on an FX2. Dealer tells me they are hard to find and the numbers he gave me were high. As I was browsing the lot I saw my truck tux black XLT with chrome package EcoBoost. I was always a fan of black and chrome. But I kinda wish I wouldve gone with my original plan the fx2, I wanted the fx's interior and color matched bumpers etc.

Do it over for sure.
1. Not get the EB, too many problems for me.
If budget was not an issue:
2. Get 4x4 Lariat instead of 4x2 XLT. I do make use of 4x4 and miss it a lot.
I will not have my XLT too much longer because of the problems. Most likely go with a 2013 5.0 or see if I can keep the EB running long enough for a 2014 Tundra.

My truck was an impulse buy to help me forget some troubling personal things I was dealing with at the time. I didn't have a lot of money or make that much so making my large payments was difficult. I would have saved more money and gotten a diesel. I also would make sure I had a spare car before doing any mods. I would have done similar mods, though, just not one step at a time and without going through various setups. On the other hand, if I had just kept my stock Ranger, my house would be paid off by now. BUT, I don't regret having my truck. I have learned a lot and still have tons of fun with it. I think it represents my success and my personality. I just wish I had a diesel, now.

I would not order the AWD system on the Limited and Harley trucks. It let's go when you shut the truck off under load. Would go for a standard 4X4 instead. Sometimes wish I got the Raptor. Also think the Nav and Sync is a waste. Ford do not support or upgrade it. Love the 6.2 engine!

Only options I would have preferred would have been NAV, moonroof, and 20's. These trucks are ridiculously expensive as is though and I chose not to spend even more $$$. The luxury package is enough for me.Otherwise I would have bought the same truck again. So far it is flawless and for the first time in forever I am not bored with a vehicle I drive daily nor can I find any real issues (I am crtitcal). This truck has been the best vehicle I have ever had.
