Default Ideal Tire Pressure for Road Trips

I am going on a road trip soon and was wondering what you all thought was the ideal tire pressure for my truck? I have a 2014 F150 5.0 FX4 (no lift) with stock/factory 20 sport wheels and stock pirelli tires (like new).

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

I think I ran those tires on my 08 at 36. I run my current Michelins at 36, all the time. 40K on them now, no side wear and about 11-12/32 tread.

I'm guessing the stock Pirellis have a 44psi max.

I run at 38 for highway, usually. Everybody's different.

I run 36 or 45-50 if I'm towing a trailer.

Question is unanswerable. What's the sidewall max cold pressure? What does the door tag say? If they original tires, why would a trip mean any different pressure than local driving?

Ill check tomorrow. Thank you for the advice.

Ill be honest, I often commute between Florida and New York and was just curious to see what similar folks keep their PSI at. Normally, I keep mine at ~37-38.

I run 2-3 psi more than door sticker says for the front tires and 1 over for rear.

You can probably eke out a little better mileage with a little more air than the door sticker recommends. And for 2 days (or whatever) on the highway, probably not going to notice much difference in ride or need the extra grip of lower pressure.

I don't mind a stiffer ride and run 45 ish all the time. I've always been able to get 60,000 miles out of a set of tires and I almost always meet, or exceed the EPA numbers on vehicles I own.
