Not unless you can get a vid/pic/news article about him doing something douchy. Lol.

Who's drag racing their truck ?, if that's your thing..have fun and enjoy all that life has to offer, as for ME...I drove the Eco burst ,was not impressed, until I got on the highway, then it felt good, (not sure what the gearing was ),then I drove the 5.0, I liked the power delivery, the sound, and honestly..I didn't want to worry about a turbo....never mind two...and possible failure..

What are the differences between the 2 in the 1/4 mile and 0-60?

Fine. I get it. Everybody wants to think what they bought is the best and if your truck makes you happy great. Fantastic! But I question all this hoopla about the Eco being SO much faster. WTF? I distinctly remember while extensively researching my purchase that most of the write ups comparing the two called it a toss-up. They were within a mpg of each other and the 0-60 times were within .5 of a second. Did any of you Eco groupies actually drive both trucks? I did. More than once. I'm no Dale Earnhart but I sure as hell didn't feel any difference. If you tow, I agree the Eco is probably the way to go. But stock? Pure acceleration? Every day driving? The Eco is a much faster 6,000 lb truck?

You guys are full of crap!
With just a tune on each the difference grows even greater.

So you bought a rather small base v8 engine, albeit a very good base engine for the screw 4x4. And it bothers you people talk about the far greater power delivery of a more expensive engine option? Rubber ducky, maybe you're not the one that makes bath time lots of fun..... Get

I test drove both. As a matter of fact, I test drove both numerous times in different setups. I bought the 5.0. HOWEVER, the EB was noticeably quicker and more powerful. I took the 5.0 out cost and options at the dealer. There wasn't enough difference in power for my usage (towing a bass boat) but I have towed my boat with an EB as well, and it does tow better. Not to say that the 5.0 isn't great for it.

I bought a 2013 FX4, 5.0L. I test drove both several times, but went with the old faithful, fearing the long term costs of repairs and replacement of the turbo.

But to a more important issue, zx12-Iowa, can you provide the rest of the lyrics? I sing that to my 1 year old during bath time, but I cannot remember any other lyrics than that!

Old faithful hasn't been around any longer than the Ecoboost so how faithful it is remains to be seen. If you're happy with the base engine than that's all that matters.
