I think my Maestro died and took the truck with it
I have the Idatalink Maestro installed with an aftermarket stereo. Everything has worked perfectly for years until a couple days ago I'm driving home and noticed the little info screen at the top of the dash said "F-150 BUILT FORD TOUGH" instead of radio info and the clock. Also the steering wheel controls would't work. When I got home and turned off the truck, the radio stayed on even after opening the door. I can manually turn off the radio but it still draws power. I restarted the truck a few times and got the same results. Also noticed the dash lights wouldn't dim when the headlights were on. It was day so I couldn't check if the auto headlights still worked. I didn't drive it yesterday and today when I'm about to go to work the truck is completely dead. I'm guessing/hoping this is is a Maestro problem and not something else. Anybody have ideas/suggestions?

Try reprogramming it. If nothing else an error may show up on the screen to alert you of a problem. Other than that, disconnect one component at a time to see if either the Maestro or the stereo is causing the electronic snafu.
Could be as simple as a bad connection.
