Truck looks good! I would remove the fx4 sticker, that and the amps will clean up the lines and look of it for sure! Great little build you got going on

Yeah it's pretty rough. I honestly don't mind throwing money at it to fix it, what do you suggest?

To stay close to the size you got now. I would run a 35x12.50x18 in BFG MT-KM2 ,Kumho Mt Kl71, or General Grabber AT2. As all those tires have a load range D 118, and that is a 2900lbs rating. And will be night and day difference in ride vs the load rage E 127 you got now.

I've heard this complaint in particular many times specifically about RC lifts. I've got my 35x12.50R20 Toyos at 50psi and my truck still rides just fine.

Ya ive got E rated toyo rts and a zone 6". ride isnt bad but i have the full length fox coil overs on the way right now and rear foxs with resi's... i realllly hope i didnt drop all that coil for it to make the ride worse..

the load range for the toyo rts in 35s is about 3200lbs..

I really don't think it's the lift, as I'm not using any of their components other than a block in the back, the knuckles and frame parts. My front springs and shocks are the Fox/BDS ones made specifically for already lifted trucks, no spacer involved. I have the stock springs in the rear, and am using the Fox shocks with a reservoir. I blame the tires and the springs. Also, one of you lives in Denver (I used to live in Castle Rock) and the other in Texas, on streets that have never seen snow, ice, road salt, or plows. There are potholes here that feel worse than hitting a curb and I am not exaggerating.

I already have them, said it in my post. I have the Icon upper control arms, and the Fox coil overs.

I went from 34" tires and 20" wheels to 35.5" tires and 18" wheels. 17's won't fit with the RC knuckles and any tire bigger than what I have looks ridiculous on a half ton truck.

You have to experience the roads here to understand. I've been down plenty of dirt roads that are in better shape than the paved ones here. It's pretty sad.
Is it possible to swap back on the stock wheels/tires and go for a drive?

I am running 35" Load Range E tires (Cooper Discoverer STTs), my ride quality is fine. Have been running them for the last 45,000 miles. One of the benefits of Load Range E on a half ton truck is that the tires wear like iron.

I still have the stock front coilovers, but I've been considering swapping to the Fox 2.0 Coilovers and the same Icon UCAs, so the results of this post are very interesting to me.

The roads here in Minnesota are almost as bad as those in Michigan. Not as bad, but close in places. My wife and I have vacationed over to the Upper Peninsula a few times over the years, so I am familiar with that portion of Michigan.

It's too bad you weren't closer. We could swap wheels and test it out that way

i went from E rated toyos to C rated ko2's and it was night and day better. i have icon stage 5 set up with UCA's, as a bonus the 315/70-17s were only 147 a tire too.

The K02 E range I have is 3195 and the Cooper at3's I had are rated at 2505 so that would explain why his ride is so much harsher than what I'm experiencing.

It's not the lift, the RC kit simply lowers the load bearing part of the suspension just like ALL the rest of them.
