Default I need some personal opinions!

So I need some personal opinions on window tint. I currently have 35% on the front two, 5% over the rear two windows and over the back window, and I have a 5% strip across the top of the windshield above the AS1 line. I have my two labrador retrievers that ride in the back seat everywhere we go. They continuesly throw fits because they can't see out the windows, so they are always trying to get up front with us and sit on my wife's lap. I have attached photos of the way the truck sits now.

What I need your opinions on is; I am thining about having the window tint of 5% removed from the back two windows and leaving them stock. Then removing the 35% from the front two and drop them down to 20% to match the rear better. Then my strip on the windshield above the AS1 line doesn't really block out much sun. I was thinking about having my buddy add another strip of 5% on top of the old strip but have the second come down about an inch to the rear view mirrow post. It would block more sun but the doubled up 5% will make the top of the windshield above the AS1 line damn near black. What do you all think?

I think if this is the biggest thing you have to worry about today you're doing great!

I went 35 front/20 rear on mine and it's perfect for me. I wouldn't double up the front strip though.

Ask 10 people what they think and you'll get 11 opinions.

I dont see how you can even see out your back window when your backing up.

I rarely ever have to turn around and physically look out the back window. I use my mirrors and my back up camera. Seeing out the back two windows while backing out of my driveway in the morning can be a little difficult, but thats just another reason for me to remove it.

if you double up the strip, put the longer one down first, then the shorter one. Otherwise you run the risk of bubbling/leaving a bubbled line where they overlap.
I had this happen when i had 35% put down the entire windshield on top of my 5" strip. Ended up having a huge 15" bubble in the shield tint by the brow.

I have 15 on front windows a 5 strip that is curved on windshield and stock right now it looks great but I may be going darker on the back windows so I can leave things in there and it's impossible to see them but the stock back windows are good by themselves if u have to

I put a layer of 20% over my rear 2 doors, left my rear window stock. (We are 50% on the front two here in MN, so my truck looks awful.... LOL. Didn't want to get stopped for it though)

I would go back to stock on the rear 2 doors and see how the dogs like it.

I think my dogs will like it. At least it will hopefully stop my 1 year old black lab from trying to see out by climbing over my left shoulder while I'm driving.

well, if you're thinking you want to get away from the 5% limo go with like a 15-20% even across the board. i dont think trucks look good with just the privacy on the back 3. maybe evening it out would be better you and your dogs. I have 13% added all the way around with the privacy on my back 3 and like the look. like you said, sometime harder at night to see but we always have that back-up cam just my 2 cents..
