I need more power!
Hello gentlemen and ladies. I have a 2012 f150 with the ecoboost. So far I have gapped the plugs to .28, got an sct tuner(running canned 87 tune), aem filter, and 4 inch mbrp. What other mods are out there that will help me see some gains and not hurt the pocket book? Is a custom tune really worth it? What about bovs? Worth it? Any other mods roughly in the same price range?

I have the sct and the canned tunes are worthless. Go custom tune and you will never look at your truck the same way. Yes it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!!!!
EDIT: I have used both 5* and MPT and they are equally impressive with MPT being a bit more aggressive. Currently running an MPT race tune as DD.

Pretty much aside from tuning, there isn't really a lot of power adders, aside from maybe a rear end swap. The ecos hit a ceiling pretty fast after tuning, but you'll be running in the 12s on just a tune so who cares

Blow off valve won't give you more power. Just a cool sound...

wait. what?
I'm a big fan of my MPT tunes. stepping up to 91 or 93 octane is well worth it, as well.
I had the 4" MBRP on my truck and it almost felt slower, like the low-end power suffered quite a bit. I never would have thought a catback would make so much of a difference but when I went back to stock I noticed immediately that it spooled up and moved out quicker.

As others have said there is no performance benefit to a catback except sound. The restriction is at the downpipes. If you do the downpipes you might as well go the extra step and swap out the turbos.
