Default I need an inch in the rear

Sorry, I could resist for the title. I need to add an inch, maybe an inch & a half to the rear of my 2011 XLT Off Road. Sat a little high until I added my tools & topper.

What do you all think is the cheapest & best way to add this?

I too have a topper and was sitting just about level when I installed the 5100's (1.5" setting). As soon as I started to add a little bit of weight I was nose up. I installed an AAL from http://www.generalspringkc.com/Add_a...011_s/2007.htm (998lb rated set) which solved the problem without compromising the ride and netted me about 1.75" of lift.

Cheapest is adding a block to the rear. But this can lead to axle wrap.
Add a leaf are fairly cheap, I paid $160 cdn for procomp aal which lift about 1.5-2"
Next is air bags. Cheapest is have found is $300. Can add or remove air depending a load. Can raise the rear about an inch or a little more when fully aired up.
The there are helper springs and RAS, no experience with them but there are many reviews on this forum. They are in the price range of $300 and up.

With bags I get just over .5" at 5psi and over 2" at 75psi.

With the extra weight of your tools and topper add a leaf or air bags are your best bet.

Got to get air bags!!! They are amazing ...mine have the bump stops inside the bags and you can run them at 0 pressure if you like...the ride is not affected. I can drop my 8k trailer on the F150, ...and she just yawns!

Yea, the leaf seems the most practical way. But as for air bags, brand(s)?

I do have a 19' walleye boat I will haul as well.

What is RAS?
