They will fit.

As to the oval vs round, unless you change out your head unit and amp them you will never tell the difference. I have the 5x8 infinitys and they sound great running off my Kenwood. Coupled with my SO all in one sub, there is enough *** there for me to get fist pumping down the road.

RES4CUE I like "there is enough *** there for me to get fist pumping down the road." Ha ha that is a good discription of what I need to achieve. On another thread some one said after they hooked up their 1600 watt system, when it is on you can't swallow, and it will make your lighter go out. Wow

Back in the day I had the big 15" back massagers but I'm into nice sounding music without breaking the bank. Lol

LOL! That must be a magical system. Sorry, but many people have stereos with that much power and you can still swallow and it will not blow out a lighter. My FJ had an 1800 watt just for my JL 12w7...

RES4CUE ha ha yeah. I like nice sounds, not distorted or nothing rattling when bass is up. I drive a lot going back and forth between GA and SC so I can stand a nice upgrade from the stock speakers I have. I guess I can say they are a little whack.

Big difference between RMS and peak, I have yet to see a 40,000 RMS system. There is a LOT to quality sound besides throwing a system in there that says 2000 peak watts. A quality built system running 1800 RMS can blow away a 10,000 peak "sloppy" setup.

Also, if you are looking at a speaker tha they sell at Walmart now, I wuold steer away as stock is still probably better. I have some kicker stuff still from before they went and designed their stuff to be affordable and sold everywhere and it kicks ***, but honestly you are better off going to find something at a quality sound store than walmart or BestBuy. (It did make me laugh that you put down BestBuy and the stuff they sell but had a link to Walmart lmao)
