What are side mirror reflector erasers? Do you just mean the black inserts from the XL and STX side view mirrors?

I'm pretty sure you need to have an amber reflector, that being said as long as I use amber bulbs I don't think I will get hassled. I ran clears on my ranger with hyper whites when that was cool for a couple years but always got scared when passing a cop. I never got pulled over for it, but I changed to chromed ambers. I felt better after that. Now I run "silver" dusted ambers. I feel pretty safe with them. Yes I am talking about the xl black inserts.

Well I went through a carwash today and no moisture yet! Keeping my fingers crossed!
I'll post pics of when I put in the reflector blanks

if i had a white truck, I would buy these in a heart beat.. Since mine is black, i just took my lights apart and sprayed some black behind the reflector ha but these lights looks sooo.. "crisp". thats the word that keeps coming to mind
