I hate dealerships..
So I'm cleaning my truck today and I discover a lake(soaked carpe) on my passenger side. Second time it has happened so I brought it down to my local dealer. I stated where the water was cus I had already pulled it up. They said they would look.
Get a call around 4 and they said they didn't find anything after looking at all the seals, and they check the TSBs for the rear cargo and AC drain.
Both were "okay". But they still charged me 130$ just to look at my carpet I had pulled up for them. And they didn't even put it back together.
They laughed when I said this shouldn't happen when I wash my truck.
End of rant. Just was a little mad for being charged for them doing NOTHING.

Was the carpet not wet when you took it in?
Are you sure its not coming out of your HVAC unit?
If I was you I would have a chat with the service manager about this. Or find a new dealership.

Additionally, I suggest that you follow Tothemax's advice and visit another local dealership; you're free to visit any because they're independently owned and operated. If this is reoccurring and you can get it diagnosed by a dealer, I'll be able to look into some available options. What is the model year and current mileage of your truck?

I understand where you're coming from with this, TMurphy11. I'd like to document this as dealer feedback. Please send me a private message with your full name, best daytime contact number, VIN, and any additional details you'd like to be included.

Thanks for the sound advice, Tothemax! You're exactly right.

Funny how this comes from an employee of Ford Customer Service. They advise you to follow the advice of another forum member because the product they build can't be fixed by dealerships that sell you a truck with factory warranty. They should just tell you to shop around the country and maybe you will find a dealership that can fix your new truck. "We Really Don't Give Sh.t.".
If another member gave good advice what are they suppose to say? "Go back to the same dealership that gave you bad service and demand they play nice". So the first attempt didn't result in a satisfactory result, try again or go to another dealership seems like sound advice to me.

You are just stirring crap as per your normal posts.
You should try to contribute something constructive or just be quiet.

Funny you posted this- I just had my oil changed at the dealership I bought my truck from. I made my appointment by phone as I have done in the past, however this time I never received my email confirmation. I didn't think too much of it- figured my spam folder swiped it up. Showed up at the dealership and they didn't have my appt scheduled, though there was a service advisor available to "take care of me". After inspection, I was advised to purchase the 30k service which included the oil change, oil/air filter, top off fluids, 20(something) point inspection, tire rotation and grease some joints (sorry don't remember specifics) for a whopping 650 bucks! I declined as I showed up without the intent to spend any money as I have prepaid my maintenance with MPP. The rep said "well lucky for you you bought the plan cause we can knock off 50 bucks the final bill". I made the remark "50 bucks off 600?", which was responded with "well 50 dollars off the final bill, incase we find anything that needs to be repaired". I continued to decline and said I would do my research first then reschedule a time to come in. Naturally I was met with resistance as "I was already there. It would be much easier to just have it taken care of now". I declined firther and said I would be back to pick it up after I had run some errands. An hour later I received a call stating my truck was ready for pick up. When I arrived my original advisor was busy so another rep assisted me with my paperwork however this time I received only a receipt when typically I would receive a breakdown of everything completed + results of the inspection. so... not only did I not receive the break down but my truck wasn't even washed as was done every other time I had taken my truck there. Kind of feel like they didn't care too much about my ride as I had declined the 30k service. Can't say I "hate" the dealership, but man... I was really taken care of before and spoke highly/recommended them to my friends. But if they are just worried about the initial sell and let their customers just breeze by, I will probably not do business with them again. So with that.... If you live in Az... probably try another dealership before going to Peoria Ford.
sorry for the rant-

They said it wasn't coming from the HVAC unit, and I don't think it was cus all I've used is heat lately.
There HAS to be a leak. My interior should not be soaked after washing my car. Or I'm finding a week spot somewhere.
Thanks for your help
