Exactly what I was thinking when I read the post. The GY are much more aggressive.
The lower mpg is probably due to the fact that the BFG's are likely around 7 pounds heavier per tire.

Everyone has there own opinions To clarify what I meant to say... The sales guy rolled out the DuraTracs, KO 2, and Terra Grappler. The DuraTracs tread pattern aggressive but the side wall is a bit on the softer side compared to the KO 2.

T275/60/R20 KO2s and I really like them. I have about 3000 miles on them, just rotated and noticed no real wear, although I haven't measured tread depth. No noticeable reducing in fuel mileage, they ride firmer than the marshmallow Goodyears and much more stable when pulling my 26' travel trailer. Road noise over stock is minimal to not noticeable.

I've had these on my FX4 for about 8k miles. I went with the 33's and put them on when the truck had 100 miles, so I don't know the mpg differences. I'm currently getting 16.2mpg in all city driving and about 18-19 in all highway. Snow traction isn't as good as an all out snow tire but in 4x4 it's real hard to lose traction with them.
