^ that's good to know, a lot of the later model GM's and Fiats need to be programed with the VIN # to interface with the factory module.

pretty sure that after an airbag deployment you have to replace the restraint
control module, that requires programming.

Seems the newer SRS do require that but can also be done at home using forscan.

Is it possible that all side curtain airbags are the same across reg cab, super cabs and crews? I could see front being a separate piece from rear.

Thats not what I'm finding.
There are unique part #'s for Screw, Scab & RCSB.
It seems they are only referred to as left and right and not front to back.

On screw the right (passenger) is a double long curtain covering front and back.
The RCSB is a single headliner side curtain covering just the one door.

This isn't based on first hand experience its just what I've seen while helping the OP search online at parts houses and salvage yards.
