I drilled through my wiring harness! What gauge wire?

Ouch. That sucks. I would assume it is probably 14-16 gauge if it is just circuitry for power accessories. Maybe 12 gauge. Did you track down to see what a new harness would cost? Splicing can lead to problems down the road.

Just cut a couple inches off from what you damaged and take to store to buy some. If you have room to work, break out the harness separating the damaged from un damaged wires.
Then cut the damaged wires off to where you have clean ends, splice/solder/heat shrink 4-6" lengths to repair each wire. Since there such short repairs I wouldn't worry if the repair wire is the same color or not, just make sure that the colors match on both sides of each repaired wire.
Rewrap the harness in tape and/or wire loom, and tuck it away. Call it good.
Now, the deployed airbag is a different matter, maybe try some salvage yards for a replacement.
Oh, did your underpants need changing after the airbag went off.

Your next post will be "how to safely remove poop splatter from seats and door panel"
Man I bet that made your blood pressure rise a few points.
Sorry to hear but at least the harness repair will be fairly easy in straight forward.
Hopefully you can find a salvage yard side curtain airbag so you can maintain the safe crash rating of your truck.

Diy. After repairs are complete, the system will do a self check on start up.

Its going to be a challenge to find a side curtain for RCSB.
It seems most used or salvaged parts available are for Screw or Scab.
