Default I don't know why but I may anyhow

I've been perfectly happy with my 2010 XLT Screw with a 4.6 engine. Getting great mpg, not a single issue so far with 23,000 miles but I've had this insatiable desire for a new truck with factory navigation. I probably should go with the gut feeling and keep what I’ve got but I’ve always been a bit impulsive when to come to something like this. The 5.4 interest rate at my credit union is hard to beat but I still own a little more than the trade-in value.

An aftermarket nav/stereo not an option? There are some good units out there at decent prices.

5.4% seems high to me. I'm at 2% at my credit union. Its cheaper to keep her.

No aftermarket for me. I've generally had the best luck with OEM parts. Beside, as far as I know there are no aftermarket units that are fully functional with Sync, Bluetooth and Sirius satellite radio systems. All things considered, resale and trade-in value play a small parts as well.

It’s like insurance premiums in my area. I shouldn’t have to pay the rates I'm pay either.

Sounds like your trying to make excuses to buy a new truck. **** or get off the pot. They do make aftermarket nav units that work with the steering wheel ect.

I fully understand where you're coming from. I used to use a Garmin but after I bought my first vehicle with factory navigation, I could not go back to not having it. 5 cars in a row now. and aftermarket never looks or works as nice.

of course we would all love to see you go grab up a new truck and show it off on here. and if you're looking for a '12 then now is a great time to buy. but whether or not it's feasible or even a good idea is 100% up to you (or your significant other, if applicable).

There's no significant other and my house is paid for. Other than utilities, my truck is the only payment I have. I'm a little disappointed the rebates aren't better and the dealer tell me the rebates aren't going to get any better until after the first of October. I was looking at an FX2 or a Lariat maybe.

than you can afford a $1000 month payments if you house is paid for. keep what you got and buy a '13 raptor fully loaded, you will still be under $1000 a month for payments.

It would depend on how big the difference in your trade in would be for me. If you loose 1000 bucks or so, no big deal but if its 4-5k then I would say at least keep it until that number gets smaller.
