This has been a great read for the past few days...your company stepped up to the plate and put out a nice gesture to a blue collar guy that just wants to enjoy a few nice things with his truck. Some wives just don't get it and most of us can relate. You guys will have my business when I'm ready for a lift.

My wife doesn't HAVE to actively try to change me, and never has. In fact, our first actual 'talk' came a few months after we met. I was trying to impress her (as every young man does - I'm 38 now). She sat me down and told me "You don't have to try to impress me or change to what you think I'll like. I like you because of who you already are."

Because of that, I change things I recognize I need to improve FOR her, because I love her.

If you want to consider that being neutered, knock yourself out. I know better. Out of respect for the OP I'll refrain from responding further, as things seem to be getting back on track.
