I didn't need it but I wanted it. I was blessed in that I had the money to buy it. I wanted it and I bought it. I looked at both GM and Dodge along with the Ford. GM too proud on price and too short on options and pizaazzzz, boring. Dodge was nice, plenty for zip, loved the hemi BUT Ford had it all. I hear some poeple complaining about this or that but nothing of substance. Why bitch? Nothing is perfect and some may have problems; deal with it, manage it and be grateful for what you have; nothing is perfect; you are not perfect nor is your truck. I am happy about my choice as should you be. Just sayin.....

I bought mine because my 05 lariat needed about $4K worth of work to fix it up where it looked good and ran good again. It was starting to rust out pretty bad, I can't stand rust. I do miss some of the options my 05 had, but I love my new truck..

Bought mine cause my previous company got rid of truck allowances and the payments on my 2011 f250 diesel were making things tighter than I liked so I made the choice to down grade. Hoping to get back in a diesel in the next year so I can ditch this half ton. Or convince the fiancé to take my truck so I can pick me up a gt500 :evil grin:

Need to go back to a pick up for the towing. The F150 had all the options and the rear seat room for the kids. Not to mention the 6.2.

I had a 2006 F150 with 27k miles on it so I didn't really need a new truck. I've been playing around with turbo cars for 25 years so when ford offered a TT engine in the F150, I had to have one.
