Default i bought an ECO today!!

I went to the dealer to trade my 2007 to buy 2012 xlt 5.0. I didn't even want to test drive the ecoboost. However dealer had a left over 2011 ecoboost FX2, for 4,000 cheaper. It had much more bell and whistles. So, I test drove both and I was impressed with both. The Eco just had way to many x-tras and cheaper so I went for it. I purchase the 2011 Eco!! I am a little nervous I have alway been an old fashioned V8 guy. I hope I did the right thing. The truck is going to be pulling a 5,000 camper a couple times a year and be used as a daily driver. So please ECO owners, tell me I did right!!! Let me know you are happy with them!!!

You weren't going to lose either way on the engines. Enjoy the extra features.

You're gonna love it. I was nervous when I first bought mine, but now I'd never change. Congrats!

Since they have been available for 2 full model years, I wonder how well the Ecoboot F150's are holding their resale and trade-in value compared to other models.

Can't go wrong with either engine, but I bet you'll be glad you got the FX2 over the XLT due to the extras.
