Thans for all the input so far. I driven the heck out of it for the first day of ownership. It appears to run great, smooth and with lots of power. I will post some pics later today.

Wait til you tow, you 'll never look back. Ok, that is a lie, you will look back often to make sure the trailer is still attached.

Congrats on the new ride! I know a few people who own the Ecoboost and tow regularily with them and they are very pleased. It's amazing the amount of power generated by such a small engine. My 2001 Mustang V6 was 3.8 liters, and had 193hp stock and around 200ft/lbs torque. Look at the numbers for the Ecoboost! And it's only 3.5 liters! Insane, eh?

You will really enjoy that new ride!

Enjoy that great new truck! You could park a 2011 next to a 2012 and no one could tell the difference.....heck, you could park it next to a 2013 and 99% would not be able to tell any difference....a leftover 2011 sounds like a great deal to me too.....and with all the "extras" you got, well that's just icing on your cake!

Congratulations on the New truck. Your going to love it. I to have a 2011 FX2 Super Crew Eco and wouldn't trade it for the world. Best truck I have ever owned. Enjoy it :-)

It had much more bell and whistles. So, I test drove both and I was impressed with both. The Eco just had way to many x-tras and cheaper so I went for it. I purchase the 2011 Eco!! I am a little nervous I have alway been an old fashioned V8 guy. I hope I did the right thing. The truck is going to be pulling a 5,000 camper a couple times a year and be used as a daily driver. So please ECO owners, tell me I did right!!! Let me know you are happy with them!!!
Wait until you hook up the camper. Pull out on the highway, find some slower traffic, merge to the left lane and roll on the gas to pass. At that moment you'll have your answer.
