6 Minutes Maybe?!
Just took mine off this morning, hair dryer on high and work slow, taking about 2 minutes per side and they come off with no problems, wipe em down when done and like they were never there, don't be scared!!!

Took mine off over the weekend... heat gun, and it came off in 2 pulls basically. Ironically, there was wax under the sticker and not around it (could tell by beading water in former sticker location. Took some automotive GooGone, wiped it over sticker location with a microfiber towel, then just waxed the panel. Looks perfect... Also took off the EcoBoost sticker...
Bad video I made with one hand removing the sticker. Temp was about 50 degrees, and I used a heat gun on low with the end of the gun about 3" from the paint:

Decal removing
Guys, I'm in the same boat. I have a FX4 2014 but after upgrading my hood which by the way doesn't have the hood decal I've been seriously considering removing the side Hockey Stick stripe decals.
A few reasons I don't like:
When I wax it the only true way to keep the wax from getting into the edges is to mask them off. Total waste of time.
I find that they are not durable. I've gone threw touchless car washes and had them rip.
I find that they get cloudy easly and find myself cleaning them more often than I'd like.
Net net, they are a little bratty and high maintenance.
The likes:
Subtle on the ghosting, black on black. I like the stealth design.
I think I'm at the point where the cons out weight the pro.
From an appearance stand point, what do you guys think given the look and stance of my rig.
Stay or loose em ~ Side Decals?
