I have the Husky box with subwoofer. It sits on top of the (thick) OEM rubber rear mat, and touches the bottom of the rear seat, but does not interfere at all...

picture? Are you talking about the Husky gearbox and you just modded it to fit a sub?

They make a shorter one, if you have a sub.

Default Husky Gear Box for Supercrew F150 with Factory Subwoofer

Here is a shot of the Husky Gearbox with the seat folded up and the factory subwoofer. The gearbox works good. I think Husky is enjoying the fact that they don't have much competition out there because for the cost of this product there isn't a ton to it. the divider is foam and the material is not that thick. All in all I'm satisfied with the product, but it should have cost about $80 based on the quality IMO.

There is a massive thread on here of people who have made their own custom boxes for under 20 bucks, including me. I just made a 3 sided corral that went around the sub and I covered it with black carpet that almost perfectly matched my factory carpet. If it wasn't sitting on a crappy weathertech mat it would look factory! I forget the name of the thread but search underseat storage and look for the long thread. In my opinion the boxes you buy, such as the du ha look cheap and don't match up very good and they are way overpriced. Options are limitless when you build it yourself. You can go corral, full box, full box with compartments or gun holders or whatever you need. I suggest checking out that thread.
