Hub or cv?
Anyone have a hub or CV go out on them and paid attention to any noises? I have a wicked "card in bike spokes" noise in 4HI that is from stand still to about 25km/h then it fades or is at least indiscernible due to road noise. Gets worse when I turn for sure. Just noticed it today- pretty cold- but I've spent the last week or so in 4x4 because of the snow, but its definitely a new noise. Still engages fine and pulls- just thinking my hub(s) could be worn? Or is it possibly a CV joint?
Any thoughts? I know its hard to tell without actually hearing it, just looking for some best guesses so I can work on narrowing it down.

I just had the same noise. The front axles had to be replaced the dealer said that my level kit caused to much down pressure on the axle when the suspension is all the way out.

Update.
Outer passenger cv joint fried. Axle needs to be replaced. I am paying the difference for them to do both. Also investigating a weird "clunk/ knock" coming from mid to rear. Wonder if its the slip yoke? Just had an OEM shock replaced. It's not specific to a side. It's when I'm backing up or going forward slow on uneven ground.
All kinds of little gremlins surfacing as of late. Only 50,000 KM on her. Maybe I'm in an abusive relationship? Lol!

I had a similar noise turned out to be my front hub actuators not holding vacuum. Began to be noticeable only in AWD and 4HI then it was apparent in 2HI. Apparently a quite common problem in our trucks
