Ok so I bought a sync 2 screen and module with navigation but for my 2013 XLT they have different brackets holding the screen in any idea where I can get replacement brackets

I found a damage F150 screen with brackets on Ebay for $40.00

I talked to 4d tech today they said I can’t put a stock sync 2 radio from one truck to another that ford would not program it to my truck and only their system would work... are they just talking their crap and wanting to sell their products or is thisthem speaking the truth

HOWEVER, using Forscan you can program it yourself, turning options on and off as needed, using the information in this forum. It's a lot of work and trial and error, but at the end of the day you end up saving yourself $1,000 or so.

There are spreadsheet on this forum that have great information that can be use with Forscan.
Depending if your truck was built before 2014 or newer, These spreadsheets is full of informations.

Hi, it with would be useful to have a description (Year, options that you have about your truck) in your signature, these info would help members on this forum to help you out more precisely.

I already have the Sync 3 and looking to just create my own harness and switch to add a second back up camera (Lucas88888 has done this)
my questions is and have you found a place for the female side shroud
in this thread the 2 black shrouds which ones are these

APIM Male side pin 1-36 piece - 571-1924340-1, current price $1.77 what is the difference between
APIM Male side pin 37-54 - 571-1924341-1, current price $1.06 these 2 and how many do i need
APIM Female side male crimp pins - 571-1924968-4, $0.05 each (get 40 to have some left over/bad crimp) (0.05 x 40 = $2.00)
