Since each vehicle is semi-unique here is the process that I would use to solve your issues.
I would totally write my APIM to the new APIM, see what works/doesn't. From there change one character at a time back to my original values to see if that gets something to work or not that wasn't before.
Same with HVAC Controls. You shouldn't ruin anything by doing this, just get some DTC's which you can also use to help you figure out what you changed.
Use the explorer speadsheet to rule out what has already been figured out like engine stuff in hvac.

That is where I was hoping not to go lol that is going to take so long lol.. Which I can do tho. But a question that really need answered is the new apim has 8 blocks. My original only has 4 blocks. Any clue what the other 4 blocks are on the new one. I wrote my factory numbers to 7d01 01. 7d02 01.. And 7d03 01. 7d0202 doesn't let me write my characters into it because it says it's an invalid format.. only 1 set of numbers... so I don't know what to put in 7d0102. 7d0202 7d 0203. 7d0401 and 7d0402
