Hi do anyone know from watt date Ford started introducing the Sync 3 in there vehicle.

I think the 16's started off sync 3 for the f150's.

Hi I went to a scrap yard last Friday and found a 2016 fusion with a 8 inch display with the nav the part #DS7T-14F239-BUXU9UY9WH
DATE CODE:09-28-15
Sync 2 or 3 can anyone inform me on this

You can do this yourself by getting the VIN and determining what options it came with.

If the unit comes with a USB with a SD card, it's not Sync 3.

Sync 2/MFT and Sync 3 both work, so I'm not sure what you are asking?

There is no part number, any GPS antenna with a blue fakra connector will work. They can be had all day long for $10 on Amazon, eBay, etc.

Can I do the same with my 2012 Ford explorer xlt? I have a basic radio, with sync and satellite radio, would like to change it to touch screen..

Hi in post #297 you have posted that Sync 3 has its own GPS antenna?
Is this where the blue fakra connector takes place.
