Default How to turn off tire pressure sensor

I just bought new rims and tires for my 2011 Screw. Ever since install, the tire pressure sensor light on my dash is going off. The new tires don't have the sensors.

How do I turn off the warning all togather?
I am willing to go back to manually looking to see if my tires are flat or not.

thanks

As far as I know it's stuck on without the sensors. My old truck was like that and I just learned to live with it. Or just get sensors added.

Default sorry

The US gov mandated TPMS in all vehicles starting in 2007 and it can't be turned off. Enjoy your nanny state.

Two options, live with it or buy the TPMS sensors and have them installed. Its against the law for dealers to disable this feature on vehicles that came equipped from the factory with it. That said, you might be able to sweet talk your local technician / dealer to plug in and turn the module off. Let us know how you make out.

You can put a small piece of electrical tape over the indicator. I had to do this with a previous vehicle.

Ok, let me ask you this: Will the pressure sensors from my 17 inch stock ford rims work/fit into the stock ford 18 inch rims?. I swapped my 17's for 18's

they cant change the stems over, but the sensor can...most tire shops should have new stems in stock.....but if not..
