How to turn off tire pressure sensor
I just bought new rims and tires for my 2011 Screw. Ever since install, the tire pressure sensor light on my dash is going off. The new tires don't have the sensors.
How do I turn off the warning all togather?
I am willing to go back to manually looking to see if my tires are flat or not.
thanks

sorry
The US gov mandated TPMS in all vehicles starting in 2007 and it can't be turned off. Enjoy your nanny state.

Two options, live with it or buy the TPMS sensors and have them installed. Its against the law for dealers to disable this feature on vehicles that came equipped from the factory with it. That said, you might be able to sweet talk your local technician / dealer to plug in and turn the module off. Let us know how you make out.

the tpms is suppose tobe behind the glove box, maybe try unplugging the unit....if all fails, i bought these for the wifes 13 fiesta... they fit the f150 as well..cheapest ones i found..then a manual relearn is easy to do on the truck...the fiesta i had to buy the tool tpms-19 from the dealer..
