You guys that are working 80 + hours a week are surely making good $$$ and thinking it is all worth while. Seems OK now as you can buy more of what you and the family want and need.
When you get older and think about what all you missed out such as the kids ball games or orchestra you find out it's too late to go back.
Just saying - take it easy and enjoy when you can.
Been there - done that.
Now 63 and enjoying retirement. I guess some of those long hours did help me retire at 56 tho.

I have to agree I do make decent money I will admit, but my first kid is on her way and will be here December the 20th. The closer she gets to being here the more I want to find work closer to home, but for now this is all I can do to be able to support my family. Oil life puts you in a win lose situation. Thank you for your advice

31 yrs. old...... feeling 80ish. Married, divorced, kids, blown up, surgeries, spine of an 80 yr old(straight from the docs mouth)... ugh.... BUT, I still make the best of it! I enjoy and thoroughly appreciate everything I have. Only one life to live.......... so live it how you want as long as it makes you happy

I thought maybe, I'd make it for oldest, ... not by choice. My first Ford was a 1946 coupe, which I lowered with longer shackles, removed and leaded the trunk handle and painted, in the barnyard.
I've got nearly 71 years of experience.

Pushing 65. Paying for working 80 to 100 hour weeks. My dad didn't have to purchase my vehicles, nor should he have. He taught me responsibility.
