Hello, im thinking about trading in my 2010 fx4 with 4176 current miles, excellent condition with mods listed in signature. its a 2010 fx4 supercab with plus package reverse camera sync tailgate step plus mods. ive babied it since it was my first truck. im thinking of buying a 2011 svt raptor supercab with every option stikered priced at 53k so i gotta now what my truck is worth in order to see if i can trade it. thanks.

Have you tried kbb or Nada for the value of your truck.

My truck is a 2010 xlt 4x4 screw 5.4l with 5300 miles and the my local ford dealer said all they would give me on a trade was 23k for it.

Your probably not going to get what you want for it from a dealer.

yeah kbb says they give me 30k but that sounds to good to be true haha, i mean not that the truck isnt worth it after all mods and its practically brand new but the dealer will never give me that.

Remember most dealers don't use KBB for taking in trades they use the Black Book. Reason the KBB is updated twice a year based on California prices where as the BB is updated weekly for whats going at auction. Once they get your trade they will then resale based on KBB. That was explained to me by my dealer whether that is 100% true couldn't tell you. Anyways look at a lot of dealerships they have a section to value your trade and most go by Black Book which is quite a bit lower than KBB.

2010 FORD F150

$18,515 - $25,235

which to me is not worth loosing becuase i would be loosing lots of money and my truck is still brand new so im not sure, i mean im in love with the new raptor (grey with red interior) but i dont know if its worth it...

Not helpful to you now I know, but this is why I always tell people to buy exactly what they want the first time around. Every month or two someone posts about wanting to sell or trade their basically new truck for a slightly different new truck. Generally the financial hit is pretty steep

yeah, i know but when i bought my truck the dealer had no raptors and i didnt like the colors not that they came up with the silver color and they got the red interior on them ( were before you could only get balck with red interior), i think ive made my mind, altought the diffrence isnt much, except ride but for 4k i could get better suspension for mine altough i would need a wider stance which would run me another 2k plus a supercharger to make more power which would be 6k so add all that up and it still less than what i would loose so thats why i cant make my mind up...

The question isn't what will we or anyone else pay for it, it's how much do you end up paying for the raptor. Lots of ways to skin the cat. I've been in both scenarios. 1) I actually paid more than sticker for a car but they gave me more for my trade-in and the flip side as well. Consider payments, length of payments, etc... 1st, '11 raptors are hard to come by at this time of year ( at least in NC). Then just start beating the crap out of two different dealers.
