Any Royal Red Met Owners?
Any of you have any second thoughts about picking the color, or surprised at how much it changes depending on the light? Don't get me wrong, I love it when it's clean and the sun hits it just right. The problem is that anytime the sun isn't blazing down on it the color looks much darker, and at night can even be mistaken for brown. It's still a nice color but I'll admit when I woke up the next morning I was looking for that same dazzling brilliance that it had the day before, but it was overcast and the bling just wasn't there.
The candy red is awesome but I already had one close to that shade and my previous trucks were blue, white, gunmetal, and black wasn't in the equation. It's the finest color when it's perfect but being a clean freak I figured I would never have it looking like it should.
I'm not ragging on any owners who have any of the colors I mentioned. They are all great or I wouldn't have bought them in the first place This time I wanted something different and I really got it with the RRM. It's amazing in the sun.
The new "new" grill was added out of necessity. I put a bird through the 6 bar during my first week. Got this one off EB new in the box for way less than any other place I could find.
