Default How much oil do I need to change a transmission filter

Simple question looking for simple answer 2014 F150 going to change the transmission filter.

-How much oil do I need to buy?

-Also what is the torque value on the transmission pan bolts.

I tried searching and just ended up with threads of people saying

"why are you changing it"
"You should have it flushed to get all of it out"
"Ford intervals are too long"
"Transmission oil is good for lifetime"

Not one person answers the question it's quite frustrating.

I don't want to hear any of those responses I just want to know who much oil I'll need to put back in after I drop the pan and change the filter.

I already know how to do it.

I'm changing it early because I am rich and like to throw away money.

Thanks

You should only need about 6 quarts of fluid if you don't have any fluid leaks you're addressing with the service. There's typically about 5 quarts in the pan, and then the extra that drains when you pull the filter. Depending on how you're pumping it in you may want to get a little extra, I know many fluid pumps that I've used take about a quart to prime.

Pan bolt torque is 9Nm, 80lb-in, 6.6lb-ft

Just a side note, the trucks I service all seem to have leaking bulkhead connectors around 60K so depending on your mileage and when you plan to do your next service it might be worth replacing while you have to pan down.

You will never get all that out with just a pan drop...5-7 Qts. only

What is a leaking bulkhead connector?
