Default How much for my truck

Just looking to get some input. I have a 2013 F150 XLT. It is a 4WD Ecoboost with 3.31 gears. It has a spray-in bedliner with a Leer camper shell on it. The Leer camper shell is carpeted with a pullout front window, keyless entry, and the power station with 3 outlets. Truck has 57,000 miles on it. KBB says it is worth $27,000+ in Very Good condition. The truck is at least in Very Good condition if not Excellent condition. 100% mechanically and visually. Also has fairly new 285/65/18 BFG AT KO2's on it. Only about 6,000 miles on the tires. Any input on a private party sale price for the truck would be most appreciated. Here are the most recent pictures I have.

Cloth, no sun roof, nav, or backup cam? Any options? I paid a little more than that for my 2012 w/ 72k, but it was a lariat and optioned out. It also depends on where you live too.

I am having a hard time figuring out what mine is worth as well. Mine is a 2009 F150 Supercab FX4 with luxury package (leather, backup camera, power adjustable pedals, moonroof, etc.). I have 74k miles and it's in good condition overall. It will need tires in the next 10k miles and the windshield has a crack.

A local dealer offered me $17k if I purchased a new Lariat. A dealer in Pittsburgh offered me $18k sight unseen (I emailed a bunch of pictures) if I purchased a used FX4 they had. A third dealer in Michigan offered me $15.5k sight unseen (again, I emailed them a bunch of pictures) if I purchased a used FX4 they had. Autotrader's online appraisal said $15k.

My point is, it seems like these things are priced all over the map. Most trucks like mine that I see for sale are around $22-23k. Based on what I have seen for sale used, your truck should be in the high 20k to low 30k range.

I would like to add that I typically never trade vehicles, however I have a feeling that it is difficult to sell a used vehicle in this price range to a private party. It seems like most people would just prefer to go to a dealer and get financing versus dealing with a private party, lien, etc., even if they have to pay more.

You are about right at $27K for private party value. Any more than that would be retail that you would pay at the dealer. Trade in on your truck was about $23K when I looked it up.

I'd take a look at the NADA values as well. Most banks are going to base the loan value on NADA.

Whenever I look Edmunds always seems low, KBB seems high, and NADA is kinda in the middle-high range. Then you go to the dealer and they offer you half of the lowest value on Edmunds.

I'd say 25-27k all day long private party. Sell your topper for $600 on your own if you want on cl within a week and then drop truck price $500...

Im having same thoughts on mine.
2014 XLT SuperCrew XLT 4x4 with Leather, Back up camera, center console, power seat, power sliding glass, leveling kit etc. My kbb trade in value is right at $27k. Its in exceptional condition. No scratches, stains, dents, anything like that. Still looks brand new. I owe $25ish. Thinking about trading in for a F250. If I sold private party, id be looking at $30k ish which would end up being close to trade in after sales tax and everything is paid for the truck I sold.
