I'm trading in my 09 lariat 4x4. We didn't even discuss what they were going to try and give me for my trade in because i wasn't close to accepting their 45k offer

The bottom line in a deal is all that matters.

If they give you more than your 09 is worth, it all equals out.

When you get the "bottom line" price (New truck price-trade value) then come back and let us know.

It's a lot easier to give advice when we know what the entire facts are.

Good Luck.

I understand what you're saying and it makes sense, but I doubt seriously that they are gonna give me 4000 more than what my truck is worth. Thanks for your replies tho

Search the forum. There are a bunch of threads on the topic. Many people were getting 8-10k off sticker(including incentives) for loaded screws a few months ago, and there is no reason to think that would change with the end of the model year.

It's worth it to submit some Internet quote requests. You'll usually get great quotes without dicking around, whereas if you walk into the showroom, the starting price is sticker.

And request a brochure from Ford, you might get private cash.

If you are in central Texas go to the carpro shows website (google it) with Jerry Reynolds. He will most likely direct you to a couple of dealers (Leif Johnson, etc.) and you go in using them as the referral and you will get nothing but great service. Just bought the same truck you are looking at here in Dallas from one of his referred dealers and received a very fair deal all around.

I requested 3 quotes today online and I'm in the process of getting them. I have looked at a few threads that were from a couple months back and I agree with you about the 8-10k off, seemed like that was fairly common. Hopefully I can get somewhere in that range!!! Thanks for the help yall

I have received several offers over the past few days for a FX4 5.0 SCREW with FX Plus and Running Boards. My best three are at:

MSRP:$42,635--Offer price $33,272 (this truck has a trailer brake controller as well)

MSRP:$42,130--Offer price $33,179

MSRP: $42,130--Offer Price $33,639

I have received several others, but these are the best. Can I do better? The three offers above state that is all they can do.

Thanks

Idk if you can do better, those are all pretty good. I hope to get some offers with that much off, guess I'll have to wait and see. Good luck with your decision!!!

I going to tell you the fact, some of this is BS posted above. NOT ALL REBATES APPLY TO EVERYONE.
MSRP was $49,500 for a fully loaded 2012 FX4, Ecoboost, Appearance Package, Luxury Package, Nav, Sunroof, 5.5 box, some smaller options trailer brake etc.
purchased in JULY 2012
REBATE TOTAL WAS $3750. plus discount for package total of $2000
Paid $38,200 From APPLE FORD in Maryland traveled 4 hours to get. PLus they gave me a good trade in value. matched best offer up my way.
tax, tag, fees vary from state to state, dealer to dealer

What above are you considering BS and why? Not arguing with you, just curious of why you say that
