How Much Chrome Is Too Much?

The only blacked out vehicle that actually impressed me was a new gen Sierra. Yep, release the hounds!
I originally thought a truck is not a truck without chrome. I've slowly changed my opinion on that. I liked the previous generation models with chrome bumpers but ptm grilles. So, thats the look I'm rocking now.

Had a Yamaha V star 650 and picked up a Suz dual sport, haven't washed it in 4 years and it looks just as good as day 1 LOL.

Nope.
I mean black painted trim, all around. Like the Ford Explorer Sport edition.
The unpainted black plastic has a cheap look to it on most vehicles but I do
like it on the new Raptor. Chevy's , it's the sign of a bare bones LS trim line.
& the Appearance package trimline on the F150's are badass.

While a lot of people think black trucks are overdone, especially the F150 FX4's ... I really love mine, and love black trucks ... just NOT the "murder" or "blackout" look.
What I love about the black trucks is that all the trim stuff on these trucks, when not PTM, is typically either black or chrome. I'm not a fan of chrome, and I don't care much for seeing all this black trim on a truck that's another "color" (color is in quotes because technically, white, gray, sliver, etc. are not "colors" ... they are "neutrals" LOL).
anyway, with the black truck, all those fender flares, rubber gaskets, etc. all blend in with the truck, but not so much that they disappear ... they just don't jump out at you like they do on colored trucks.

You do realize that black is a complete lack of pigment?, it takes all colors of the spectrum to make white and some amount of other pigments to make all the other colors.
