Ecoboost Test Drive - Mobile, AL
Just scheduled my test drive of the new 2011 Ecoboost V6 in Mobile, Al on Jan 24th. They are going to bring it right to my house for the test drive.

I am in no way in the Market for a new truck......my 2010 Lariat is just about to make a year old.
The curiosity is about to get the best of me from what I have heard about these new engines. I have read where other folks have had the truck brought to them. The person that shows up is not a salesman.....just there to demo the truck.
But.....who knows what might happen after I drive it.

I went to the dealer ship in Wexford PA a friend of mine got the post card invite and took me too. My 2010 f150 only has 8k miles so I am not ready either. The truck was fantastic. I did not notice any lag in acceleration when climing a hill like I do in the 5.4v8. This truck handles like a sports car.

I took my test drive today. Cool guy didnt care where I drove or how much I pushed the truck.
I was able to stomp it a few times and do the zero to 75 (high way merging). I was so so impressed with the motor. Its REALLY quiet, im undecided whether or not I liked that.
The absolute, without a doubt best new feature between the 2010 and 2011 is the steering upgrade. Turns with a pinky finger. Plus I chose Susan G komen for the 10 dollar donation.

Hmmm... I'm tempted but I plan on keeping my 2010 for 10 years or so, so I probably shouldn't just in case I like it more. I hate the new woodgrain in the 2011 Lariats though so at least I know i'd like mine better in that respect
